The Russo Brothers Just Posted the Ultimate ‘Avengers: Endgame’ Throwback

Box office Hollywood directors Joe and Anthony Russo, more popularly known as The Russo Brothers, today, shared a hair-raising clip to commemorate the first year since Avengers: Endgame, one of the most epic, and the highest grossing film in cinematic history, wowed fans around the globe.

In a post on their official social media channels, the directors reflected on what they call as the biggest highlight of their directing careers at the culmination of the well-received films under the Marvel Cinematic Universe–featuring one of the most gratifying fan moments that took the Internet by storm when it hit the theaters in 2019.

The chilling throwback came after the iconic directors hosted a virtual watch party with fans looking back on the historic film release, joined by the franchise’s main guy, Robert Downey Jr., who breathed life to one of the most loved characters of the MCU, Iron Man.

Showcasing the climax of the film, the theater exploded in glee as Captain America, showed Chris Evans, as he dramatically gets the reinforcement he needed in the face of adversity, battling Thanos, played by Josh Brolin.

They wrote, “Thanks to everyone that joined the #Endgame watch party. Sharing #Endgame for the first time last year, with each and every one of you, was the most thrilling and rewarding moment in our careers. THANK YOU. THANK YOU. THANK YOU. We eagerly await the day that we can all be back together in a theater, sharing these experiences once again…

They added, “This was taken on Joe’s iPhone when we snuck into the Regency Village Theater at UCLA opening night. This is the scene where we teared up.
