Barely two weeks after Brie Larson, garbed in her Captain Marvel battle gear, soared in cinemas across the globe, Marvel Studios just dropped a new trailer, along with a movie poster for the highly-anticipated finale to all finales, Avengers: Endgame.
Larson, fresh from the global success of Captain Marvel, is slated to appear in the film franchise’ end to the superhero saga as seen in the film’s latest teaser, marking the return of some of the characters played by Robert Downey, Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johanson, Mark Ruffalo, Jeremy Renner, Don Cheadle, Paul Rudd, Karen Gillan, Bradley Cooper, and Josh Brolin.
The film picks up from where the historic 2018 film Infinity War has left off, zooming in on the surviving characters of the beloved franchise, after the heartbreaking demise of half of the world’s population in the hands of Thanos. Globally, the film was well-celebrated by fans, raking in over 2 billion USD in ticket sales and expectations are running high on this followup.
The 22nd film in the MCU is directed by brothers Anthony and Joe Russo and is announced to hit cinemas on April 26, 2019.
