Maymay Entrata, one of the most beloved graduates of ABS-CBN’s leading reality show-cum-talent search Pinoy Big Brother, has nailed it good on her recently hyped and now-historic appearance at the Arab Fashion Week. Entrata, in a historic first, not only strutted her stuff on the runway but opened the entire annual fashion and style festivity in Amato Couture–led by Filipino designer Furne One.
Jaws were dropped and local entertainment industry’s resident runway assassin sure did it once again, this time in a subdued and regal stomp with her signature model-esque figure and legs for days! Fan uploaded videos showed how Entrata opened the biggest fashion celebration in the Middle East.

Of note, Entrata did not just rule the runway, but social media as well with a trending hashtag, #MAYMAYForAmatoAFW2018, reaching almost a million tweets in no time.
This isn’t the first time that Entrata played muse to the acclaimed and celebrated fashion designer. At the last Star Magic Ball, One has dressed Entrata in a dramatic and structured gown inspired by her fans, “Angels”, in stunning bead work and wings crafted out of silk organza.
During the show, it is, of course, not surprising to see that Entrata’s love pair partner, Edward Barber, flew to Dubai to show support.
Entrata’s road to the Arab Fashion Week was met with excitement as soon as her stint for the glamorous show was announced not only because she was making history as the first pure Filipina celebrity but for her known strength and presence on the runway. Who can ever forget the time she elicited wows from fashion onlookers when she came out at the tail-end of a fashion show for retail giant, Bench.
