MANILA, Philippines—Once again, Art Fair Philippines, the nation’s premier platform for modern and contemporary Filipino art, has metamorphosed The Link in Makati City into a hub of artistic ingenuity.

Amidst this environment of artistic brilliance, LG Electronics, lauded at CES® 2024 for its groundbreaking display innovations, assumes a central role through strategic partnerships, reaffirming its commitment to the arts.

At Art Fair Philippines 2024, held from February 16 to 18, attendees were treated to an immersive blend of technology and creativity. LG showcased artworks by Eugenio Ampudia and Alvin Zafra on its cutting-edge QNED and OLED screens, renowned for their unmatched visual fidelity. This collaboration highlighted LG’s commitment to bridging traditional art forms with the digital era, faithfully reproducing every nuance and color envisioned by the artists. Awarded as the Best TVs of CES 2024, both LG QNED and OLED screens redefined the art viewing experience.

The QNED screens, incorporating Quantum Dot and NanoCell technology with Mini LED backlighting, offered vibrant colors, deep blacks, and stunning contrast, powered by the α9 Gen5 AI Processor 8K for sharp, lifelike images. Meanwhile, LG OLED evo screens featured self-lit pixels for perfect blacks and infinite contrast, complemented by features like Brightness Booster and Dynamic Tone Mapping Pro for vivid HDR. Together, LG’s QNED and OLED screens provided an immersive, detailed, and vibrant viewing experience, breathing life into digital art like never before.

Art Fair Philippines elevated the digital art experience by showcasing digital, crypto, and new media artworks on LG QNED and OLED screens on the 7th floor. This initiative, called ArtFairPH/Projects, highlighted the presence of foreign artists and LG’s commitment to supporting innovative art forms. LG’s screens, with vertical installation capabilities, are perfectly suited to the unique requirements of contemporary digital artworks.
