Dune: Part Two seamlessly picks up where the first movie left off, and for Timothée Chalamet, reprising his role as Paul Atreides, returning to this vast world was a dream come true. “It was a dream to revisit the world of ‘Dune,’ reuniting with castmates I had an incredible working experience with previously,” says Chalamet.
“Additionally, witnessing their characters evolve, like Chani’s, and collaborating with new, exceptionally talented actors such as Austin Butler and Florence Pugh, whom I’ve had the pleasure of working with before. And, of course, witnessing Denis bring his complete vision to life.”

Zendaya, portraying the Fremen warrior Chani, also shares the excitement of continuing the Dune saga. “Though my time filming ‘Dune’ was brief, I eagerly anticipated returning to delve deeper into Chani’s character. Filming ‘Dune: Part Two’ far exceeded any expectations I had. Being on those sets, surrounded by incredibly talented individuals in every department… I was in awe.”

The ranks of Arrakis see new additions as Austin Butler and Florence Pugh step in to play Feyd-Rautha Harkonnen and Princess Irulan, respectively. Butler, an avid fan of the first film since his teenage years, couldn’t be happier about joining the cast. “Watching the first film evoked the same emotions as when I first watched ‘Apocalypse Now.’ I knew right then that I wanted to be part of the sequel. I feel incredibly fortunate,” Butler expresses.

Pugh also shares her enthusiasm for joining the Dune universe. “Becoming a part of this film was an exhilarating experience—one of the most thrilling introductions to a world I’ve ever had,” she remarks. “If Denis had asked me to be Spear Carrier #3, I would have eagerly accepted just to immerse myself in this cinematic masterpiece. Joining a cast of this magnitude is always an opportunity you want to seize.”
