MANILA, Philippines—Jason Momoa, reprising his role as the King of Atlantis, returns to Philippine cinemas in “Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom.”

After a brief hiatus during the Metro Manila Film Festival, the James Wan-directed superhero sequel, featuring stars like Patrick Wilson, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Nicole Kidman, and Amber Heard, is set to make a splash back onto the big screen on January 8.

Having garnered over $255 million globally, producer Rob Cowan urges fans to catch the movie in theaters for the optimal experience. Cowan expresses gratitude for the film’s success, emphasizing the grand scale of the project and the diverse journey it presents through various worlds. According to Cowan, “This film really is something you need to experience inside a big theater with a huge screen… because there’s just so much to look at.”
