In this riveting adaptation of the internationally acclaimed bestseller, a pivotal choice made by a young woman in 1960s China sends shockwaves through time and space, shaping events in the present day. As the laws of nature begin to unravel inexplicably, a team of brilliant scientists bands together with an unconventional detective to confront the most significant threat humanity has ever faced.
