MANILA, Philippines—Acer has been honored as one of the World’s Top Companies for Women in 2023, securing its position on the prestigious Forbes list for the second consecutive year. Climbing from 291 to 259, Acer ranked 12th in the Semiconductors, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Technology Hardware & Equipment category.

Forbes conducted a survey of 70,000 women across 37 territories in partnership with Statista, evaluating workplace practices, gender pay equity, discrimination handling, and equal opportunities to determine the rankings. This recognition underscores Acer’s unwavering commitment to cultivating an inclusive work environment.

In the Philippines, Sue Ong-Lim serves as the managing director of Acer, leading a team of 139 employees. Having started as a Sales Manager in 2009, she ascended to the role of Managing Director this year.
