Fans of the land of the rising sun, Japan, and all it has to offer are in for a treat! You no longer have to fly out to experience this dream destination, as McDonald’s brings a piece of the country to the Philippines with the launch of its new Flavors of Japan offers!

Filipinos can now enjoy the same mouth-watering products that were also made available in McDonald’s restaurants across the world , with four new and exciting Japanese-inspired products! Flavors of Japan offerings include the new Ebi Burger (with actual shrimp!), Teriyaki Samurai Burger, Nori Shake Shake Fries, and Strawberry Sakura McFloat.

These unique Flavors of Japan treats are now available in all McDonald’s stores.

Take a sumptuous bite out of the new Ebi Burger that has a tempura coated shrimp patty topped with sweet sauce and lettuce, all sandwiched between a black and white sesame seed bun.

Another new burger you can look forward to is the Teriyaki Samurai Burger which has a beef patty dipped in teriyaki glaze, topped with mayo and lettuce, all in between a sesame seed bun.

You can pair any of these burgers with the new Nori Shake Shake Fries, a sweet and salty, seaweed-flavored take on McDonald’s World Famous Fries.

Complete your Flavors of Japan experience by trying out the Strawberry Sakura McFloat, a sweet strawberry and cherry taste topped with a creamy vanilla sundae.

Can’t wait to try it all? The Sakura Meal is ready for you! It is comprised of a choice of any of the two Flavors of Japan burgers, Nori Shake Shake Fries and Strawberry Sakura McFloat for a complete Japanese experience.

The new Flavors of Japan products are available for dine-in, take-out, DriveThru and McDelivery. You can also get the Strawberry Sakura McFloat at Dessert Stations and Sundae & McFloat Stations nationwide.

To complete your Japanese experience, select McDonald’s branches nationwide will also get a Japanese-inspired makeover. You’ll feel like you stepped into a Japanese restaurant as our crew greets you with a warm Konnichiwa, dressed in their Japanese-inspired vests. The Sakura season will also be in full bloom at McDonald’s with Sakura window displays where you can dine and take photos with.  You can also enjoy the timeless yet fun art of origami with friends and family with special origami traymats that you can turn into paper cranes, while listening to the Japanese inspired ambient music playing inside the store throughout the afternoon.
