Set to grace the big screen exclusively in 2024, this follow-up is once again helmed by director Adam Wingard, with the return of stars Rebecca Hall and Brian Tyree Henry reprising their roles from the original film, joined this time by the talented Dan Stevens.
Legendary Pictures’ Monsterverse continues its epic saga post the explosive clash in “Godzilla vs. Kong,” unveiling a gripping new adventure that thrusts the mighty Kong and fearsome Godzilla into a colossal confrontation with an undiscovered threat hidden within our world. Once again steering the ship is director Adam Wingard, while the screenplay is masterfully crafted by Terry Rossio (“Godzilla vs. Kong,” the “Pirates of the Caribbean” series), Simon Barrett (“You’re Next”), and Jeremy Slater (“Moon Knight”), stemming from a story by Rossio, Wingard, and Barrett.
Based on the iconic character “Godzilla” owned and created by TOHO Co., Ltd., the film is produced by Mary Parent, Alex Garcia, Eric McLeod, Thomas Tull, Jon Jashni, and Brian Rogers. Executive producers include Wingard, Jen Conroy, Jay Ashenfelter, Yoshimitsu Banno, and Kenji Okuhira.
