GrabFood’s Second Year of Indie Eats Continues to Put the Spotlight on Community Restaurants

Food & Drinks

MANILA, Philippines—GrabFood continues to shine a spotlight on local eateries and vendors in the Philippines with its Indie Eats campaign. This year’s theme, “Sarap na Lumalaban,” invites food enthusiasts worldwide to enjoy the culinary creations of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) that can rival chain restaurants.

Indie Eats, an initiative by Grab to support local businesses, has thrived since its debut in 2022, attracting new merchant partners and enhancing the culinary experience for customers.

This year, Grab has also forged a collaboration with distinguished street photographer Jilson Tiu, aiming to grant select Filipino restaurants an imaginative impetus as they unveil the artistic essence that underscores each delectable creation they present. The Indie Eats x Jilson Tiu campaign empowers small-scale culinary ventures such as Barls Snack Corner, Bebette’s Pancit Malabon, Doble Pares, and Hungry Buns, providing them with an artistic elevation that captures the artistry woven into their culinary innovations.
