UNIQLO’s Five Latest T-Shirt Collaborations Bring New Designs and New Hope

MANILA, PhilippinesUNIQLO, global fashion retail giant, has made a significant stride in their humanitarian efforts by unveiling a new collection of five T-shirts for their ongoing charity project, PEACE FOR ALL.

The latest collection boasts of exquisite graphics that are exclusively designed for the project by highly acclaimed collaborators, including the celebrated tennis icon Roger Federer and the revered creator of Miffy, the late Dick Bruna. This remarkable display of artistic expression and philanthropy continues UNIQLO’s commitment to making a positive impact on the world.

Since the project’s launch in June 2022, the company has sold over 1 million PEACE FOR ALL T-shirts worldwide. The profits generated from these T-shirts are entirely donated to various international aid organizations, including UNHCR (the UN refugee agency), Save the Children, and Plan International, to assist people impacted by poverty, discrimination, violence, and conflict worldwide. The project has donated over JPY 300 million so far, making a significant contribution to the cause.

Activities supported by PEACE FOR ALL donations include the self-reliance projects for Rohingya women refugees in Bangladesh, educational support for displaced Syrian children and vulnerable Lebanese children in North Lebanon, and a campaign to eliminate child early and forced marriage in Vietnam.

Picture Book author, graphic designer, and a champion of the idea that world peace is achievable, supported the notion that spreading the slogan “WORLD PEACE IS POSSIBLE” would increase the likelihood of achieving this goal. UNIQLO shares in this empathetic sentiment through our support of the PEACE FOR ALL project, which embodies the spirit of peace-driven action.

The Magnum Photos’ President and a notable artist known for utilizing symbolism in their work, sought to convey the idea of the “right to peace” and the fight for peace through a thought-provoking image. By combining the symbols of a fist and a pigeon, each representing these concepts, they aimed to create a powerful visual representation. The photograph was taken in the city of Salvador de Bahia, which is renowned for its breathtaking clouds, and serves as a captivating backdrop for the meaningful image.
