Gear Up, Army! The Anticipated BTS x McDo Collab Kicks Off with Merch Drop Tomorrow—And We’re Ready

MANILA, Philippines– As we officially count the days down until the highly-anticipated BTS Meal lands on Philippine shores via McDonald’s, the fun kicks off early with a merch drop for the Army!

In anticipation of the band’s signature order featuring a 10-piece Chicken McNuggets, medium World Famous Fries, medium Coke, and Sweet Chili and Cajun dipping sauces inspired by recipes from McDonald’s South Korea, here’s an exciting pit stop to this much-awaited collab. Alarms should be set tomorrow, May 27, 7 AM PHT, when McDonald’s and BTS are slated to drop the show-stopping merch line on the Weverse Shop app.

This head-to-toe collection is inspired by some of the crave-worthy, hand-picked menu items from the BTS Meal from dynamite threads like hoodies, purple bathrobes, socks, sandals and more. Whether it’s the McDonald’s fry box logo with seven fries for each BTS member, or the marriage of BTS purple with McDonald’s red and gold, these designs fittingly represent the iconic partnership between two giant, global fan-favorite brands. But first, you must download the Weverse Shop app and create an account as you prepare for the merch to drop. 

“We know our customers and crew have been eagerly awaiting the arrival of our first celebrity signature order in the Philippines, and we’re thrilled that the collaboration is less than a month away,” said Oliver Rabatan, McDonald’s Philippines Marketing & Channels Head. “We couldn’t be more excited to start seeing our guests enjoying the BTS Meal and sporting their favorite pieces from the exclusive merch line.”

McDonald’s also gears up in introducing a new commercial featuring the band’s newest single, “Butter,” on the heels of its chart-topping release last week.

Come June 18, Philippine customers can finally order the BTS Meal (in stores via Dine-In, Take-Out, Drive-Thru, and via McDelivery. And with the BTS Meal coming to nearly 50 markets globally, customers worldwide will soon be enjoying the artists’ go-to McDonald’s favorites.
