McDonalds Kindness Kitchen Leads Relief Operations for Typhoon Karding

MANILA, Philippines—McDonald’s Philippines, extend its assistance to Super Typhoon Karding-affected areas through its charity of choice, Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC).

Over 3,000 meals were given away by volunteers from the public and commercial sectors through the McDonald’s Kindness Kitchen to villages in Tarlac, Pampanga, Bulacan, and Nueva Ecija.

The Kindness Kitchen is an RMHC program that strives to provide meals to people in need, including underserved communities hit by natural disasters, medical professionals, and other frontline workers including the police, LGU volunteers, and government organizations.

Over 570,000 meals have been served by McDonald’s Kindness Kitchen since it opened its doors in 2020.
