The makers of critical and audience runaway hit, Sherlock, are at it once again, with the release of a new series that reinvents yet another well-loved classic. Released at the onset of the new year, Dracula, is a three-episode binge-worthy show that’s rightfully easy to sink your teeth into (get it?!).

Claes Bangs is Count Dracula in this revival of the Bram Stoker gothic masterpiece that then sparked a cult following and a birth to the vampire genre. The show opens with a Jonathan Harker, played by Jonathan Heffernan as he treads into Castle Dracula in a frightening face-off with an frail, aged vampire.

Developed by Mark Gatiss and Steven Moffat, the series interestingly stayed true to many elements from the original Stoker text never seen before in any other adaptation.

The show also features Dolly Wells and Morfydd Clark and premiered in British Network BBC One on New Year’s Day, before its global release on Netflix on January 4.
