The last leg of the competition was held over three days, at the ZALORA Philippines headquarters and a runway show at The Island at The Palace. On 3 October, the finalists participated in a headshot challenge shot by fashion photographer Miguel Alomajan and directed by ZALORA’s in-house creative team, which included two of the competition’s judges – Ashley Wong Cheng, Head of Production and Florence Song Oon Hui, Head Stylist both from ZALORA Malaysia Hub.

The following day, the contestants then faced two crucial but very important challenges, the Photo and Video editorials. The competition concluded with a runway challenge at the Grand Finale held at The Island at The Palace in Bonifacio Global City on 5 October, hosted by Janeena Chan and Vince Velasco.

Launched in August 2018, MMAZM Cycle 3 was opened to both aspiring male and female models across the region in six countries. Using social media as a platform in the search for aspiring models and fresh new faces, participants were encouraged to enter the contest simply by uploading their best photos on Instagram using the hashtag #MMAZMCycle3. Twelve finalists were chosen from thousands of hopefuls and they were flown to the Philippines for the Grand Finale.

The winners were selected by a panel of 5 individuals, among them notable industry personalities, who formed the judging committee for the Grand Finale. The panel consisted of Watson Tan, Founder of UpFront Models Singapore, Ashley Wong Cheng, Head of Production, Florence Song Oon Hui, Head Stylist both from ZALORA Malaysia Hub, Christopher Daguimol, ZALORA Group PR and Social Marketing Director, and Paulo Campos III, ZALORA Philippines founder, and CEO.

As ZALORA launches its latest campaign #whatsyourbasic, a celebration of individuality and the beauty of pairing through ZALORA Basics, the contestants walked the runway in everyday staples from the collection paired and styled from anything and everything available on the site.
