Siargao and Ang Larawan Win Big at the 2017 MMFF Awards Night

Two critics’ favorites snatched the most awards as the envelopes have just been opened at the 2017 Metro Manila Film Festival Gabi ng Parangal, held at the Kia Theater on December 27.

Loy Arcenas’ interpretation of a Nick Joaquin classic, Ang Larawan garnered the epic musical six trophies including Best Picture.

Paul Soriano’s honest and intimate Siargao collected a total of eight awards including one for Soriano as Best Director.
