Janella Salvador is recently unveiled as the face behind the much-loved book series, I Love You Since 1892. Salvador, in a recent book-signing event, celebrated the success of the book saga as leading character Carmela written by Binibining Mia published under ABS-CBN Books.
Marlo Mortel was first introduced as the noble and kind-hearted Juanito—the love interest of series protagonist Carmela. Fans were overjoyed when the much-awaited reveal for the dashing Juanito’s leading lady was none other than the young actress and singer.
In the series, Carmela is a 21st-century woman, who suddenly finds herself in the 19th century as Carmelita Montecarlos. As she tries to find a way back to her own time, she is drawn to doctor-to-be gentleman Juanito Alfonso (Marlo) and the two fall in love.
