MANILA, Philippines—With the bleakness and uncertainty brought by the COVID-19 health crisis, we have seen the world in various levels of disarray even as restrictions have started began to ease and borders have slowly opened.

Learning of these varying levels of havoc, told through bizarre tales of love, trials, triumph, and defeat, collected throughout the pandemic, acclaimed Filipino filmmaker, Erik Matti, joins trailblazing streaming platform UPSTREAM PH in bringing four unique stories on how, in a time as unclear as this, the world can drive you RABID.

On it’s first anniversary, Upstream PH is presenting the new Upstream Original which brings the tales of the pandemic to life through a twisted anthology film made in collaboration between movie powerhouses Regal Entertainment and Reality MM Studios.

“We almost went ‘crazy’ on last year’s lockdown. We made this film to capture that feeling of helplessness that bordered on insanity.”
