TWICE’s Nayeon set to release her first solo EP ‘IM NAYEON’

Nayeon from world-famous K-pop girl group TWICE announced last May 18, her upcoming debut solo EP titled “IM NAYEON”, set to be released via Republic Records. The album is reported to drop on June 24.

This marks the first solo venture from the nine-piece girl group since their formation back in 2015. Following TWICE’s recent close-out of their 4th World Tour III at a show at Banc of California Stadium in Los Angeles, they are officially the first K-pop girl group to play in a North American stadium in history.

With this, TWICE fans are eager and excited to see Nayeon kick start her solo career, and hopefully more to come from the group and its members in the future.

Kendrick Lamar releases fifth studio album ‘Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers’

Kendrick Lamar just released his long-awaited fifth studio album titled “Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers” on May 13. The American musician’s latest project was met with widespread acclaim, featuring multiple collaborations and guest appearances with fellow talented rappers.

Dubbed a ‘double album,’ “Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers” consists of 18 songs split into two sections with 9 tracks each. Containing elements of jazz, funk, R&B, and soul, the album takes a deeper look into Kendrick Lamar’s own image and his psyche, with many calling it his most controversial work to date. 

With the overwhelmingly positive reception the album has, Lamar has long since impressed the hip hop world yet again and further proves why he deserves his spot at the forefront of the industry.

Season 3 of world-hit television series Umbrella Academy is set to premiere on June 22 streaming exclusively on Netflix. Alongside the announcement features the official trailer showcasing the exciting scenes and developments that fans are eagerly waiting to see.

With season 2 ending on a massive cliffhanger, the first trailer of season 3 previews exactly where the show left off, seeing both versions of the Hargreeves siblings clash with each other.

Love, Death & Robots Surprises Fans with Volume 3

Last week, fans of the hit show Love, Death & Robots were treated to an unexpected surprise with the announcement of Volume 3, streaming exclusively on Netflix just last May 20. The anthology television series’ third season will have nine episodes.

Love, Death & Robots is famous for its interesting short stories portrayed through a variety of eye-catching art styles and animations. Featuring themes and elements crossing a variety of genres such as science fiction, fantasy, horror, and comedy, the show has since become a cult classic.

With the success of the first two volumes, fans are blessed with a treat for better stories and animations with the release of Volume 3.

World famous Filipino fast food chain Jollibee unveils its latest menu update on one of its most favorite food offerings. The Filipino-beloved Peach Mango Pie now comes in a large size, giving customers an added bigger and tastier option.

The Large Peach Mango Pie will come at 45 Pesos solo and at 132 Pesos for a pack of three. Jollibee’s latest offering is now available in store and delivery.

Philippines bags multiple medals at the 31st SEA Games in Vietnam

The ongoing 31st Southeast Asian Games held in Hanoi, Vietnam sees the Philippines showcase multiple impressive displays resulting in a plethora of medals and commendations. 

Filipino athletes from a variety of sports have been showcasing their talents and winning multiple medals that has put the Philippines at the top half of the leaderboard in medals won. With this, the Philippines is on track to finish in 3rd place once the competition comes to a close on May 23.

Notable standout performances include gold medals from Hidilyn Diaz in weightlifting women’s 55kg division, back to back gold for Sibol in the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang e-sports competition, and Carlos Yulo in gymnastics.
