YES! The Internet is rejoicing as young Hollywood actor Ansel Elgort just released a major thirst trap that turned out to be the ultimate “clickbait-for-a-cause”. The 26-year-old Fault in Our Stars actor, in a post that is now taken down, shared a photo of him in all his naked glory while in the shower, with little to no bodily cover whatsoever.

The post then teased with a caption, “OnlyFans LINK IN BIO”. Cursory research of the mentioned site reveals it to be a London-based social media service where “Creators run a paid subscription content service, with ways for them to build relationships and provide exclusive content to their subscribers, or “fans”. This would normally mean no-holds-barred, uncensored content, which, of course drove fans wild and surprised.

The link, however, drove fans to a GoFundMe page for Brooklyn For Life established on March 25, 2020 by Jeffrey Wright. The fundraiser page said, “This outbreak is touching all of us, whether or not we come in contact with the coronavirus. Of course, on the frontlines of efforts to protect us from this pandemic are the healthcare workers and the first responders. They’re feeling pressures right now of which most of us are unaware.”

It continues, “As well, small businesses, particularly locally owned restaurants, are facing financial pressures as Brooklyn self-isolates to slow the spread of COVID-19. They’ve had to lay off workers, their revenues have dropped, or they’ve shuttered their doors completely. But many are still rolling by converting their operations to full-time takeout & delivery service.”

Stating this reason, the GoFundMe page noted, “We will work to help address both of these challenges, fueled by your tax-deductible donation.” Further it wrote, “100% of all monies raised (beyond GoFundMe’s processing fee & legal fees) will be used to provide meals from Brooklyn for Life! partner restaurants to the men and women on the frontlines. Get these healthcare workers and first responders some good local eats. Get some revenue flowing to local faves. Lift up community. It’s who we are.”

The Internet of course, reacted to the playful post including, rapper Kevin Abstract, MTV, and of course, Elgort’s girlfriend and ballerina, Violetta Komyshan, reacting to the post positively:

And as expected, fans dropped their reactions to the photo:

While the Baby Driver actor’s photo has now been officially replaced by a photo of the sunset after being taken down by Instagram due to the nudity in the post, still encouraging people to contribute and donate to the cause. As of this writing, the fundraiser has collected over $210,ooo.

In a video, the actor matter-of-factly said that the photo was taken by his father. He then apologized for those who might have been offended by the post.
