“When there was no pandemic, I really like to party. Doesn’t matter if it’s a house party or a drink with friends at a club or bar. So I made a song about it and made up a story with a little wild twist in it,” he shares.
The R&B artist describes the evolution of this track as a ‘random’ song based on a beat radiating a ‘party vibe,’ keeping the message plain and simple — “To have fun. To find that girl you’re gonna bring to parties and have that special moment with during 3AM,” he explains.
He compares the sound of this track with international pop music, but with this record, the noteworthy flair of a local artist is exhibited, and Jade Ivy’s bold and honest approach to his art takes the spotlight.
“When I write music, I want to be free. I want to have the liberty to express my personality and my aura through my music which is energetic, liberated, and trippy,” he says.
