Musical Duo No Lore Introduces Webisode ‘Lou and Sam’, Extends the Story from Upcoming MV

MANILA, Philippines — As a follow-up to their debut single under rising indie label Off The Record, Alt-pop sibling duo No Lore gives “Lou” a face prior to the the music video set to drop on Thursday, September 23. 

Produced by Ricky Ilacad and Francis Dayao and written-directed by James Ocampo, the three-part webisode “Lou and Sam” is a prequel to the duo’s upcoming music video and gives us a glimpse of a girl who is afraid to fight for who she truly loves. Each episode, roughly five minutes in length, shows Lou and her story of love and denial, which serves as the doorway to her inner struggle.

Theatre actress Ashe Uy (Mula sa Buwan, Rak of Aegis and Dekada ‘70 the Musical) plays the title character “Lou” while singer-actress Fiona Yang (No Boyfriend Since Birth (2015) and One Great Love (2018)) portrays “Sam”. Despite the online video call setting, the two display an undeniable chemistry that lingers between playful banters and hidden gazes that give off an electric atmosphere throughout the series. Talk about kilig!
