LOS ANGELES, USA — The LA-based breakout pop group, Boys World, has unveiled to the world their intoxicating single and video for “Something in the Water”. The anxiously awaited song has been teased across the group’s socials, amassing 25 million views in less than two weeks. Written by Grammy-nominated Tayla Parx (Ariana Grande, Khalid), “Something in the Water” remolds the group’s narrative into a more mature disposition with lyrics such as, “I don’t know about forever, but I know about tonight,” and “I’m not dead, but this right here is heaven / Just a little hotter.” The latest track follows the group’s stellar debut EP, “While You Were Out”, which has earned a total of 15 million global streams.

Of the song, Boys World said, “‘Something in the Water’ has got such a summer feel. We hope our fans get a euphoric feeling when they listen to it – butterflies, happiness, excitement…whatever it might be. This song is about living in the moment and not worrying about what’s to come. It really embodies the feeling of going for something, even though you might be scared…even if it’s just for the night.”

In true Boys World form, “Something in the Water,” is all about romanticizing your own life. The video, directed by Chandler Lass, wraps up feelings of excitement and ecstasy in just over three minutes. The viewer is along for the ride with the group on what is one of the best nights of their life, starting off early in the evening, and ending at daybreak when the sun is rising.
