MANILA, Philippines—Independent label Careless Music recently announced the upcoming release of James Reid’s remix of his latest single “Hello” featuring Korean superstar Jay B of GOT7 and Taiwanese American hip-hop artist Ozi.
Despite releasing half a year after the original, the collaboration between the three big artists however has been waiting to happen since the trio first met in Los Angeles, California back in 2020.

After the original song gained popularity following its release, Transparent Arts, Reid’s international label and artist management, orchestrated the collaboration between Careless Music and High1r Music for the remix. Careless Music then took on the project, pushing forth their vision creativity on the collaboration.
Through melding and bringing cultures together to enrich musicality and celebrate artistry, the Asian superstars bring a new flavor to Careless Music main man’s 2021 track.
With the collaboration, the funk-pop English-Korean track, through its catchy lyrics, touches on people’s eagerness to make connections during unprecedentedly confusing times. The song pushes listeners to say “hello” as a reminder that your relationships and bonds with people are what make living worthwhile.

The track focuses on music as a means to transcend language, celebrating Asian artists through the collaboration. Hello’s message revolves around finding ways to break the barriers set by the limitations of language and the current situation of the pandemic.
“Hello” is set to have its audio release on March 11, 2022 on Spotify, Apple Music, Deezer, Tidal, and YouTube Music, along with its Music and Lyric Videos releasing on March 12 and 13 respectively on the Careless Socials and YouTube Channel.
