Give Back to the Heroes of Delivery Service with Grab’s ‘Groceries For Your Riders’ Campaign

Stage & Performing Arts

MANILA, Philippines — On Labor Day, Grab launched its tribute to dedicated delivery-partners who continue to serve consumers even under challenging conditions, by launching ‘Groceries For Your Rider.” This is a new feature on GrabMart that will let customers order groceries from participating GrabMart stores and brands for their ”Ate and Kuya Riders”.

Grab’s new initiative will benefit GrabMart delivery-partners relied upon by thousands of Filipinos for their groceries and other essentials. These partners continue to serve as a lifeline for many families and consumers who have limited access to supplies because of the varying levels of lockdowns and limited mobility imposed to combat COVID-19,

The launch of the “Groceries for your Rider” coincides with the annual celebration of Labor Day, a special occasion that celebrates the hardwork and dedication of all Filpino workers. In the same spirit, the new GrabMart initiative specifically honors delivery-partners. They are among the many frontliners who risk their safety by leaving their homes, to provide necessary service for the benefit of others. The feature will be available until the end of May 2021.

This new initiative is a continuation of the very successful “Food for Your Drivers” drive launched by Grab in March 2020 to assist delivery partners who continued their work, even as the country experienced restrictions at the beginning of the pandemic. Thousands of riders received food gifts and meals under the campaign.

Consumers who would like to help their Grab delivery-partners can order groceries and essentials from stores such as Robinsons Supermarket, Shopwise, WalterMart, pharmacies and convenience stores such as Ministop, Watsons, or Generika Drugstore. They can also order items for themselves and for their drivers from partner brands such as Nestle, Unilever, Mondelez, PepsiCo and BioFlu or provide them with other goods available on GrabMart’s roster of stores. Consumers can find the feature under GrabMart in their Grab app.
