MANILA, Philippines — In a recent advisory, McDonald’s Philippines in its Facebook page, the Filipino fastfood giant has raised awareness to customers of the rise of fraudulent websites that are neither recognized nor related to McDonald’s. The brand has been vigilant against such fraudulent activities such as selling counterfeit products online to these kinds of websites that aim to collect one’s payment details.

This alarming number of phishing and fraudulent websites have been circulating and, such nefarious actors are identifying themselves to be the official McDonald’s Philippines delivery website, offering special discounts and promos.
