This former homegrown international top model, singer, and actress, Bessie Badilla, collaborated with Filipino international talents in an enchanting photo editorial unlike any other.
Set in Dubai, Badilla, together with close friend and internationally-acclaimed couturier Michael Cinco, mounted a grand photo and video editorial that the multi-hyphenate swears to be a “dream photo shoot”.
“Michael (Cinco) and I have been talking about a ‘dream photo shoot’ for a long time. I remember him asking me if I had any, around two years ago. I told him that my dream was to shoot in his gown, riding a came in the desert. I never really knew that, given both our really crazy schedules, Michael was planning on making it happen,” Badilla shares Rank Magazine.
“Bessie really embodies this captivating enchantress. She has this sexiness that doesn’t have to be loud, but her sense of self definitely shines through. Not a lot of people can pose with seven shirtless male models and not be overshadowed,” said Cinco when asked about the shoot.
The shoot was done in collaboration with Los Angeles based Filipino photographer Filbert Kung.
