Discover the possibilities of blended Scotch whisky

Johnnie Walker introduced the different ways people can enjoy Johnnie Walker through the brand’s signature highballs and Cebu-exclusive specialty cocktails blended to suit every type of flavor preference.

For its run in Cebu, Johnnie Walker launched a new highball, the Johnnie and Mango, inspired by the province’s famous dried mangoes. The Johnnie & Mango combines the smoky flavor of Johnnie Walker Black Label with the sweetness of fresh mangoes. The vibrant highball is garnished with dried mango and fresh lemongrass, creating a distinct multi-sensorial experience for the senses with every sip.

Guests also enjoyed the smooth and creamy texture of Johnnie Walker Black Label with the Johnnie & Lime, a crisp summer highball that adds a citrus kiss to the boldness of whisky. Finally, the Guava Sour offered up a creative twist on the traditional whisky sour with the introduction of guava juice into its mix, while those looking for something bolder and smokier can also enjoy their whisky neat or on the rocks.

Homegrown acts from Cebu take over the Johnnie Highball Bar stage

The Johnnie Highball Bar not only introduces consumers to the many flavors and ways to enjoy Johnnie Walker, but it is also a platform for celebrating people and culture.

According to Merell Betran, Marketing Manager for Culture & Advocacy for Diageo Philippines, the Johnnie Highball Bar is envisioned to become a space for communities to come together. “We want to explore how we could support our partner communities as a meaningful way to reinvigorate social spaces by giving local art and culture a platform, and that’s why we’re so excited to bring in performers from Cebu and Manila as part of our programming for the Johnnie Highball Bar.”

A local DJ group from Cebu called We Are Your Friends collaborated with Johnnie Walker to spin their music at the bar. Every weekend, performers from Cebu’s thriving music scene included singers and bands.
