Hollywood A-lister Chris Hemsworth is set to return in a high-octane film he co-produced himself along with the brains the widely-successful Avengers franchise, Joe and Anthony Russo. Extraction is set to premiere on Netflix on April 24.
In Extraction, the 36-year-old Australian actor plays Tyler Rake, a fearless black market mercenary with nothing left to lose when his skills are solicited to rescue the kidnapped son of an imprisoned international crime lord.
Set in the peopled outskirts of India and Thailand, Rake’s mission goes in deep in the murky underworld of weapons dealers and drug traffickers. The plot then goes all the more convoluted when an already deadly mission approaches the impossible, involving the agent and the boy.
