You Can Now Send and Receive Money Using Your Own Username—Here’s How

Digital

MANILA, Philippines—The all-in-one digital bank Maya, introduces a new game-changing feature that allows you to send and receive money using your own username – yet another first-of-its-kind feature from the country’s leading digital bank and fintech.

This provides you with more personalized, convenient, and secure money transfer options. When requesting payments, you can use your @username in the same way you would tag your family/friends on social media – no need to memorize and enter 11-digit mobile numbers. If you own a small business, you can use this feature to easily set up your store name as your account username for an easier, hassle-free mode of payment.

You can also use Maya’s username feature to keep your personal information private, such as your account name and mobile number. This feature is available to upgraded Maya app users, ensuring the Maya community has a secure experience.

Maya has also collaborated with Giphy to help you personalize your Send Money transactions. You can even include some GIF action in your send money transaction to make it even more interesting! With over 10 billion GIFs to choose from, you’re sure to find one that perfectly expresses how you feel.
